Hi, my name is Sang-Min Yoon, but most people call me Sang.
I’m an Engineering Manager specializing in Frontend Engineering, UX, and Design Systems based in Alexandria, Virginia.
Since 2009, I have helped design and develop web experiences for a wide range of organizations, including Capital One, Federal Trade Commission, Microsoft, National Basketball Association, SiriusXM Radio, Starbucks, Smithsonian Institution, and T-Mobile. What started as a passion for crafting websites has grown into a career focused on leading teams that deliver scalable, accessible, and user-focused digital products.
Over the past five years, I’ve led engineering teams at HubSpot and Indeed, driving initiatives in Design Systems, frontend engineering, and UX quality. I’m especially passionate about cross-functional collaboration, mentoring engineers, building inclusive team cultures, raising the bar for frontend engineering quality, and bridging the gap between design and engineering to elevate product quality and experience.
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad of two amazing daughters, and most of my time is spent with them. When I’m not busy being a dad, you’ll probably find me watching movies, fishing, playing Nintendo Switch, or following the NBA, UFC, and WWE.
